Alan Simmons lives in Turangi close to the Tongariro National Park and for the last 45 years has worked as a full time fishing and hunting guide but since covid came along has retired to a quieter life.
He has had a lifetime involved in the outdoors and over the years has been close to many of the major outdoor issues which he is still passionate about.
Alan is active in promoting fishing and hunting as healthy outdoor activities. He has written four books and had countless articles published worldwide as well as numerous TV shows in the 90’s. Has hunted and fished worldwide in many remote parts of the world.
